Amman International Airport – Amman Hotel

Welcome to Jordan!

Arrival at the Amman International Airport. Complete your customs and immigration. Meet and greet from our tour representative and transfer to your hotel (35km / approx. 45 mins). After reaching your hotel, complete the check-in process. The standard check-in time at your hotel is 16:00. Relax and freshen up. Enjoy the rest of the time at leisure. Enjoy the hotel amenities or explore your nearby surroundings, cafes, streets, etc. or you can just relax in your room and recharge yourself for the upcoming days. After completing the day, enjoy an overnight stay in Amman.

Day 02
Amman -Madaba – Nebo – Shobak – Petra

Early breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, enjoy a morning drive out of the city to Madaba.

Madaba, otherwise referred to as the ‘City of Mosaics’ is best known for its collection of Byzantine-era mosaics. The most famous of these is the mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land which can be found on the floor of St George’s Church.

Later, continue with a visit to Mount Nebo, one of the most important biblical sites where it is believed that Moses first sighted the Holy Land. A small Byzantine church was built on the site by the early Christians and has since been expanded into a vast complex. During his visit to Jordan in 2000, Pope John Paul II held a sermon here that was attended by over 20,000 people.

Your final stop today is a visit to Shoubak castle (240km / approx.3 hrs.’). Perched on a rocky hilltop, this imposing fort was built by the Crusader King Baldwin I of Jerusalem in AD 1115 to guard the road linking Syria and Egypt — the old King’s Highway. It successfully withstood numerous sieges until it fell to Saladin's troops in 1189. Enjoy a wander around the remains of this old castle and admire the spectacular views across the barren landscape.

After finishing your sightseeing tour, continue with the drive to Petra (30km /approx. 30 mins). After reaching, complete the check-in process. Relax and freshen up. Enjoy an overnight stay in Petra.

Day 03
Petra visit – Wadi Rum

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast. enjoy a guided tour around one of the world's most famous and awe-inspiring archaeological sites – the UNESCO World Heritage Listed ancient city of Petra.

Start by entering through the Siq, a long and winding narrow gorge flanked on either side by soaring 80m high cliffs which will lead you to the breathtaking façade of The Treasury (Al-Khazneh). The Treasury is arguably one of Jordan’s most iconic wonders and was featured in the film ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. Spend some time exploring the city’s main highlights including the Roman Theatre, Street of Façades and the Royal Tombs.

Enjoy your free time and explore the vast network of hidden passages and fascinating tombs and palaces at your leisure. You may wish to climb up to the High Palace of Sacrifice which is located at the summit of the Attuf Ridge and offers spectacular views over the red sandstone landscapes of Wadi Araba. Or perhaps head to the Monastery, one of the largest monuments in Petra boasting an impressive façade measuring 47m wide and 49m high (please note this climb involves around 800 steps). Your next stop today will be Wadi Rum (145 km /approx. 2 hrs). After reaching, complete the check-in process. Relax and freshen up. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Bedouin-style dinner beneath the star-studded sky. After completing the day, enjoy an overnight stay in Wadi Rum.

Wadi Rum – Dead Sea

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, complete the check-out process. Discover the many towering sandstone mountains and narrow canyons of this magnificent desert wilderness on a 2-hour 4WD safari. There is also the opportunity to explore with a ride on the back of a camel. Later, you will be transferred to your Dead Sea resort. After reaching, complete the check-in process. Relax and freshen up. Enjoy a day at leisure at the lowest point on earth. Why not try out the mud baths, which claimed to have therapeutic qualities and float in the mineral-rich waters?  After completing the day, enjoy an overnight stay in the Dead Sea.

Hotel:

  • Rates / Hotels / Room Types may vary at the time of actual booking and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • City tax if any levied in European countries, Malaysia, Dubai among others needs to be paid directly. These charges range from 1 to 5 per room per night depending on the level of the hotel.
  • Mandatory fees for Gala Dinner on the New Years Eve and Christmas Eve to be payable directly at the hotel at the time of check in if applicable.

Sightseeing:

  • Any increase in the rate of exchange leads to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Tours operated on a SIC basis will start from a central point located in the city Centre. Also for drop-off some tours may or may not provide drop-off (if they will provide then drop off location will be again some city Centre point).
  • Vehicle Booked on a Private basis will not be at disposal (Full day), it will be provided as per itinerary and point to point basis.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
  • Unutilized services are not refundable.
  • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.

  • Tips to Drivers and guides are customary in most countries, and vary between USD 4 - 6 per person per day.

Self-Drive:

  • License: Indian or International as per the law.
  • Credit card under the renter&39s name.
  • 2 credit cards are required under the renter&39s name if luxury cars like BMW are rented.
  • All parking, fuel and toll charges needs to be paid directly.

Cruise:

  • All the cruise liners worldwide apply gratuity to be paid and is compulsory. The same needs to be paid directly at the cruise or can be prepaid through us.
  • Booking Amount:
    • The booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Group Cancellation:
    • Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the departure date: 50% of the total tour cost as a cancellation fee.
    • Cancellation within 30 days or less of the departure date: 100% of the total tour cost as a cancellation fee.
  • Visa Rejection:
    • In case of visa rejection:
      • Passengers are responsible for cancellation charges on flights, hotels, and land packages as per the policy.

  • Partial Refund:
