Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Sonamarg. Sonamarg is located in the north eastern side of Srinagar with a distance of 2H15m. Sonamarg is also known as the “meadow of gold” as it is derived from 'sona' meaning gold and 'marg' meaning path. After reaching, you can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (on your own). After completing your day, return to your hotel. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.

Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at Gagangair car stand or Proper Sonmarg as per conditions. To reach the glaciers, you can hire ponies on a direct payment basis.

Srinagar – Gulmarg

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, complete the check-out process and enjoy your transfer from Srinagar to Gulmarg.

Gulmarg is located on the western side with around 1H30m drive from Srinagar. After reaching, embark on a Gondola (Cable Car) Ride, which is the highest in Asia and the second highest in the world. It has 2 phases.

The first stage transfers from the Gulmarg resort to the Kongdoori Station (Included).

The second transfer from Kongdoori to the Apharwat Peak (excluded), where visitors can witness the majestic beauty of the Himalayas up close. The Apharwat Peak rises at roughly 4,200 meters. Enjoy the rides, high peaks, views, and sights. Adventure enthusiasts can indulge in skiing and snowboarding during the winter months.

On the way, visit the Saffron fields of Pampore, Avantipura ruins, and Mattan temple. After that, continue your drive to Pahalgam.

Pahalgam Sightseeing

Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all year round. It is the base for several treks in the region. One can trek or hire ponies (excluded) to the meadow at Baisaran (5km from Pahalgam). You can also hire a local car and visit Aru Valley, Chandanwari, and Betaab Valley. Pahalgam - Srinagar Sightseeing + Houseboat Stay

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, complete the check-out process and enjoy your transfer from Pahalgam to Srinagar.

Srinagar is located on the western side of Pahalgam with a distance of 2H30m drive. After reaching, embark on a visit to the local sightseeing of Srinagar.

Start your sightseeing tour by experiencing the Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. A Shikhara is a traditional gondola-type light rowing boat. Enjoy the scenic Shikara ride and experience the beautiful, thrilling view.

Later, you will continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the iconic Mughal Gardens. The three Mughal Gardens, i.e. Chesmashahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh, are the Mughal Emperors ' concept of paradise and are today very popular places for picnics and excursions.

After Mughal Gardens, you will visit Shankaracharya temple and Hazratbal Shrine.

After completing your day, return to your Houseboat hotel. Complete the check-in process. The rest of the time will be free at leisure. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar Houseboat.

  • Gulmarg:- Please note that Gulmarg is an ECO Fragile Zone and as such running of our Vehicle is not permissible there due to Government restrictions, however you may like to walk around or use ATV Bikes/ponies/sledges for visiting Gondola OR a Club House.(Please note that in case of heavy snowfall at Tangmarg our vehicle will stop at Tangmarg area 12Kms short from Gulmarg)

 

  • Pahalgam:- Please note that in Pahalgam, your attached Vehicle can only be visited by you to make a round of the local Bazaar from your Hotel to & fro. However, visiting Aru, Chandanwari & Betaab Valley, you will have to hire a local Taxi on your own with the help of your Driver OR Hotel Manager OR in case same is included in your program, Vehicle will be provided by us thru your attached driver, specifically for visit to the Sightseeing places and such local Vehicle will be provided on trip wise basis with a maximum haltage of 60 Minutes at Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari and should you stay for more than 60 minutes, extra hours will be charged by the driver and same should be paid directly to them.

 

  • Sonamarg:- Please note that for Local Sightseeing around Sonamarg, such as a visit to Thajiwas OR Zero Point, please note we do not include it in our packages as they charge exorbitant rates not controlled by the Government. Visit to Thajiwas is worth seeing, for Thajiwas negotiate the prices at least up to 25-35% and that too on your own. For hiring Ponies, Sledges OR Jackets & Shoes, etc. at Sonamarg, please recheck the prices before taking services, fix the prices after negotiations. For taking such services, please note down the shopkeepers / Pony Walla’s name and. PLEASE GUESTS THAT THAJIWAS GLACIER OUT OF BOUNDS FOR TOURISTS ON VEHICLE AT SONMARG.

 

  • NOTE: - Please note that in case of heavy snowfall in Sonamarg, our vehicle will stop at Gagangir area 13 Kms short of Sonamarg from there, guest can hire Local Vehicle / Sledge for local sightseeing

  • Disposal vehicle will be only available to guests if it&39s mentioned in the Inclusions Tab. Vehicles with disposal facilities will operate only within the city limits and not intercity for day excursions.
  • Disposal vehicles do not operate between 22:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs and supplement charges will be applicable to operate between these timings.
  • Missed Breakfast will be not be refunded due to early morning tours.
  • Menu in Meals will be as per hotels policy.
  • Check-in & Check-out time: generally Check-in varies between 2 pm-3 pm and check-out before 12 pm (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and may result in an extra charge equivalent to one full day room rate
  • Unutilized services are not refundable.
  • Any item NOT specified in the above itinerary will incur supplement charges.

  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary needs to be settled by guests directly on tour with the local vendor.
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to an increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Any special request such as adjacent rooms, interconnecting rooms, room on the same floor, 1 king-size / 2 Twin bed, early check-in, late checkout, no/smoking room, etc. is subject to availability upon check-in of the guest and is at the hotel&39s discretion. We will request this for you as a priority.
  • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.
  • Tours are operated as per driver cum guide and no separate guides are arranged unless mentioned in inclusions.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
  • Expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslides, strikes, political unrest, etc. In such cases, extra will be charged as per actual.
  • A credit card with the required limit is mandatory if the passengers wish to book Self-driven vehicles.
  • We reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, implementations of government rules/restrictions, lockdowns, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
