Day 02
Jeddah Half-Day City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. We will start our tour by visiting the Old Jeddah. Firstly, we will enjoy a wonderful walk in Al-Balad, the old part of the city. This walking tour of the old Town will take you along all the lesser-known must-see local spots: Old Market hidden gems, Old Jeddah hidden galleries, and local Jeddah food only for locals. While visiting Al-Balad, a UNESCO Heritage site, visitors will be taken to see Beit Nassif (exterior), one of the prominent renovated structures in the old city, which dates back to the mid-1800s. The five-story building provides a rare opportunity for visitors to experience the blend of traditional architecture with modernity. We will also see the Baghdadi house. We will also visit the Old Gold Market in Gabel Street and the Ukash Mosque. We will end our tour driving towards the Jeddah Corniche, which is a 30 km coastal resort area of the city of Jeddah. We will pass by the Jeddah sculptures museum, the corniche features a coastal road, recreation areas, pavilions, and large-scale civic sculptures, as well as King Fahd's Fountain, the highest fountain in the world. Lunch at leisure. In the afternoon, we will start our tour with a visit to the House of Islamic Art Museum. A unique site. After that, we will visit Jeddah Waterfront. Return to the hotel. Alula – Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. After Breakfast, embark on your journey with a visit to Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the largest preserved site of the Nabataean civilization south of Petra. Later, we depart on a journey through time to discover the ancient and powerful civilizations of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms, which have built and shaped AlUla. After exploring the ruins, drive to Jabal Ikmah, an open library of inscriptions, rock art, and petroglyphs set in a stunning desert canyon. Below, you’ll find tour details, planning tips and what to expect when visiting these extraordinary heritage sites. Before heading back to the hotel, we will visit Jebel Al-Fil (Elephant rock) for a relaxing time. Set in Golden Desert sands and climbing their storeys into the Saudi Arabian Sky, is the awe-inspiring elephant rock, one of Al ula’s many geological Marvels. Unlike the ornate, hand-carved facades of nearby Hegra’s Nabataean tombs, the "trunk" and "body" of this monolithic red sandstone beast were shaped by natural forces — millions of years of wind and water erosion. The beauty of the unrefined structure is enhanced by a landscape of golden sands, studded with rocky outcrops, many of which are equally impressive in size and have interesting shapes and figures.   • Rates / Hotels / Room Types may vary at the time of actual booking and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • City tax if any levied in European countries, Malaysia, Dubai among others needs to be paid directly. These charges range from 1 to 5 per room per night depending on the level of the hotel.
  • Mandatory fees for Gala Dinner on the New Years Eve and Christmas Eve to be payable directly at the hotel at the time of check in if applicable.

Sightseeing:

  • Any increase in the rate of exchange leads to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Tours operated on a SIC basis will start from a central point located in the city Centre. Also for drop-off some tours may or may not provide drop-off (if they will provide then drop off location will be again some city Centre point).
  • Vehicle Booked on a Private basis will not be at disposal (Full day), it will be provided as per itinerary and point to point basis.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
  • Unutilized services are not refundable.
  • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.

  • Tips to Drivers and guides are customary in most countries, and vary between USD 4 - 6 per person per day.

Self-Drive:

  • License: Indian or International as per the law.
  • Credit card under the renter&39s name.
  • 2 credit cards are required under the renter&39s name if luxury cars like BMW are rented.
  • All parking, fuel and toll charges needs to be paid directly.

Cruise:

  • All the cruise liners worldwide apply gratuity to be paid and is compulsory. The same needs to be paid directly at the cruise or can be prepaid through us.
  • Booking Amount:
    • The booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Group Cancellation:
    • Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the departure date: 50% of the total tour cost as a cancellation fee.
    • Cancellation within 30 days or less of the departure date: 100% of the total tour cost as a cancellation fee.
  • Visa Rejection:

      • Passengers are responsible for cancellation charges on flights, hotels, and land packages as per the policy.

  • Partial Refund:
