Arrival at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Complete your baggage collection. Meet and greet from our tour representative and enjoy your transfer to Gangtok. It will take you around 04h15m drive to reach. After reaching, complete the check-in process. Relax and freshen up. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the hotel amenities, explore the surroundings, or relax in your room and energize yourself for the upcoming days. After completing your day, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 02
Gangtok – Excursion to Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, enjoy a day excursion to Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir.

Start your excursion with your visit to Tshangu Lake (43 Kms in 03 Hrs one way from Gangtok). Changu Lake, also known as Tsomgo Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of India. It is located at an altitude of approximately 12,313 ft (3,753 m) and is a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and cultural significance.

Next, you will visit Baba Mandir (16 km in 01-hour one way from Tshangu Lake). The Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple is a shrine in Sikkim dedicated to Sepoy Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army who went missing in October 1968

After completing your day, return to your hotel in Gangtok. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Please Note:

Documents for Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir – 02 Passport Size Photo along with a photocopy of the Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License, or Voter ID (Pan Card & Aadhaar Card are not accepted). For Children below 18 years, a Date of Birth certificate written in English is mandatory along with a School ID / College ID as a supporting document. Originals are to be brought with oneself while travelling.

In case a visit to Tshangu Lake is not possible, due to a landslide or any other unforeseen reasons, alternative sightseeing will be provided.

Process for Foreigners, OCI & PIO Card holders are completely different, kindly inform us well in advance to plan out the itinerary accordingly.

Nathula Pass (14137 Ft / 4310 Mts) Indo China Border (remains closed on Monday for tourists), visit is limited to Indian nationals only, allowed on the basis of an advance permit. One can opt for the Nathula Excursion by paying a supplement cost of INR 6,000.00 + 5% GST.

Early morning at around 04:00 am (subject to clear weather) for a visit to Tiger Hills to view the sunrise over mighty Kanchendzonga Peak (Third third-highest peak in the world). After the visit, return to your hotel. Enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, go for a half-day sightseeing of local Darjeeling, covering Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, and a Panoramic tour of the Tea Estate.   • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.
  • Tours are operated as per driver cum guide and no separate guides are arranged unless mentioned in inclusions.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
