Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to Palampur. It Is located on the northwestern side of Dharamshala with a distance of 1h10m drive. Palampur is a quiet town situated on a plateau with the backdrop of dramatic Neugal Chasm and Bundla Stream Cutting across on the edge. Surrounded by Green tea Estates and a forest of Pine.
Enroute visit the famous temple of Shri Maa Chamunda Devi on the bank of Baner River. According to a legend, the Goddess Chamunda was enshrined as chief Goddess with the title of Rudra in the battle between demon Jalandhar and Lord Shiva which made this place famous as “Rudra Chamunda.
Further proceed to Palampur and Visit Palampur Tea Gardens. The lush gardens are peppered throughout the town and make for a wonderful and memorable tour. The green tea plants will leave you transported to another heavenly world and the aroma of the leaves is truly a drug to tea lovers.

Breakfast at the hotel. After Breakfast, proceed to Prashar Lake Located at an altitude of 2730 meters. The “Prashar Lake” which has a perimeter of about 300 meters, is decorated by a floating island. Its crystal-clear water adds to the charm of this scenic spot. Traditionally, it is believed that the lake was formed as a result of the striking of the rod (Gurj) by Rishi Prashar and water came out and took shape of the lake. An ancient Pagoda-style temple dedicated to the Rishi Prashar, the patron God of the Mandi region, stands beside the lake. The temple was constructed by King Ban Sen in the 13th and 14th centuries with the Rishi being present in the form of a Pindi (stone). It is also said that the whole temple was built by using a single deodar tree and it took 12 years to complete the temple construction. A walk around the lake gives a mystical experience of the calmness of the surroundings. A visit to Parashar is a perfect blend of a spiritual journey and exploring the serene and beautiful Himalayan mountains.
After spending some time here proceed to Mandi also known as “Choti Kashi” or “Varanasi of Hills” situated on the bank of river “Beas”. The place is often described as the cultural capital of Himachal Pradesh due to its rich culture, traditions, and temple architectural heritage.

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, ready for an excursion to Rewalsar Lake. Rewalsar is an important religious place for Hindus, Sikhs, and Buddhists alike. The natural lake at Rewalsar is famous for its floating reed islands and fishes. Hindu, Buddhist, and Sikh shrines exist along the periphery of the Lake. Legend has it that the great teacher and scholar Padmasambhava used his enormous powers to take flight to Tibet from Rewalsar. It is believed that tiny islands of floating reed in Rewalsar Lake have the spirit of Padmasambhava embodied in them. An imposing statue of Padmasambhava is also built in Rewalsar. Spend your time here and later back to Mandi, and visit Bhootnath Temple, Indira Market and Victoria Bridge. Bhootnath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. After Darshan visit Victoria Bridge, The Bridge is the first bridge of the town which connects Purani Mandi and Mandi town. It was built by the King of Mandi, Raja Vijayi Singh Sen with the help of Britishers in the year 1877. This bridge had been constructed like the Hanging Victoria Bridge on the Tames River in England. This is constructed in the style of the Jhulla bridge. Now time is free for shopping at Indira Market.
