Exploring Baku's Treasures

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, Proceed to Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

After Old City guests will experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for shopping. The street's history could be traced back to Baku's town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city's downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”. Total length of the street is 3,538 m.

Fountains Square is a public square in downtown Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The square was previously called Parapet and is often referenced to by the same name now. The name of the fountains square derives from the presence of dozens of fountains throughout the square first constructed during Soviet rule of Azerbaijan.The square is a public gathering place, especially after business hours and during the weekend.

Visit to the charming example of modern achticture -  The Heydar Aliyev Center – a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British  architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. (Photoshoot outside)

Gabala Excursion

After a hearty breakfast, 

Proceed to Gabala.

Excursion in: Tufandaq”Winter-Summer Tourism Complex offers cable car rides at any time of the year, skiing on the ski tracks of different difficulty level, ski training and ski school, catering service (cafe and restaurants), entertainment centres for kids, hotel and other services.

Nohur Lake -It is located in Qabala, another region of Azerbaijan that one passes when travelling to Sheki. Lake is not on the way but if you go a bit deeper towards the mountains this beautiful view opens up in front of you

Yeddi Gozel (Seven beauties) waterfalls in Gabala, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Gabala, are located 6 kilometers from Vandam village and 3 km from the main track over Puskan. Here, water from various ravines forms a seven-step waterfall. Only two small waterfalls are visible below. To look at the other five waterfalls, you have to climb up the stairs, which requires some physical strength. However, those who are going through this difficult path await a mysterious panorama. There is also a restaurant and a tea house. The waterfall is always dark and cool because it is located in a dense forest that is not affected by the sun’s rays.Overnight in Baku

Absheron Tour

Proceed to Ateshgah tour  (Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship.  "Atash» is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex , which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Trip to "Fire Mountain "-"Yanardag" -a mountain on Absheron peninsula , 25 km from north of Baku.Literally, word "Yanardag" means "Blazing mountain". Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor.  Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the "land of fire."

Gobustan Exploration

Fuel up with breakfast before setting out to explore the wonders of Gobustan.

Gobustan is best known for being the home to the famous rock petroglyphs. The area has been settled since the 8th millennium BC. It is known for hosting thousands of rock engravings spread over 100 square km

depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations, and animals. Its oldest petroglyphs date from the 12th century BC. In 2007, UNESCO included the ‘Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape’ in the World Heritage list.

Please note, as per latest Income Tax Department rules, you will be charged 20% TCS (Instead of 5% Charged currently) Effective 1st July 2023 on the total invoicing amount for every confirmed booking at the time of final confirmation which will be redeemable when filing your personal IT returns (Effective from 01st Oct 2020). Lead passenger Pan Card Copy will also be required as per RBI guidelines at the time of final confirmation.

Rates / Hotels / Room Types may vary at the time of actual booking and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

City tax if any levied in European countries, Malaysia, Dubai among others needs to be paid directly. These charges range from 1 to 5 per room per night depending on the level of the hotel.

Mandatory fees for Gala Dinner on the New Years Eve and Christmas Eve to be payable directly at the hotel at the time of check in if applicable.

Sightseeing:

Any increase in the rate of exchange leads to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

Tours operated on a SIC basis will start from a central point located in the city Centre. Also for drop-off some tours may or may not provide drop-off (if they will provide then drop off location will be again some city Centre point).

Vehicle Booked on a Private basis will not be at disposal (Full day), it will be provided as per itinerary and point to point basis.

No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.

Unutilized services are not refundable.

Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.

Vehicle Booked on a Private basis will not be at disposal (Full day), it will be provided as per itinerary and point to point basis.

Tips to Drivers and guides are customary in most countries, and vary between USD 4 - 6 per person per day.

Any item NOT specified in the above itinerary will incur supplement charges.


Visa:

It is the responsibility of the guest to submit all documents required for the application of the visa well in advance to Atlas Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd.  Guests must take a note that even if they have booked or submitted their visa documents sufficiently well in advance, few consulates have restrictions on how early a visa can be applied / processed before the tour departure date. Also, due to high demand at the consulates or embassies, visa processing time may be longer than expected. Sometimes even if we submit the documents well in advance, visas may get delayed and may not be received before the departure of the tour. In such case if guest cannot join the tour, then cancellation charges as per Cancellation Policy will apply.

Granting / Rejecting Visa is at the sole discretion of the respective Consulate / Embassy / Immigration Authorities. We at Atlas Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd only facilitate the guests in the visa application process and take no responsibility, whatsoever for any delays or rejection of visa and any additional cost involved due to such delay / rejection of visa.

In case of Rejection of Visa, cancellation charges will be payable on actuals.

  • 50% advance to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Air-fare is calculated at the time of proposal creation and is subject to change at the time of booking.
  • 100% payment is to be made for domestic packages before 15 days of the departure date.
  • 100% payment is to be made for international packages before 30 days of the departure date.
  • In case of cancellation, standard cancellation policies will be applicable or may be changed as per the policies.

If you Cancel your Holiday:

  • Cancellation policy charged by the local vendor depending on the season of travel will be applicable and the same needs to be accepted by the Guest.
  • Bookings Confirmed under Non-Refundable/Amendable/Cancellable Policy will be charged 100% once the booking gets confirmed.
  • Any on tour issues/changes or cancellation needs to be settled by the local vendor/driver during the course of the tour and no refunds or issues will be entertained post-tour completion.
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, the operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.
