Bay of Island - Cape Reinga & Ninety Mile Beach Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart for the Cape Reinga and Ninety Mile Beach tour. Drive till kaitaia drop your vehicle, and head for the rest of your tour in SIC (Seat in coach). Enjoy the scenic drive. Experience wild beauty and this huge, untouched region that is rich in Maori culture and tradition. You will head to Cape Reinga, as per Maori legend, this spot of departing spirits on their journey to the homeland – Hawaiki. On the way, explore the ancient Puketi Kauri forest, with an approx 20-minute boardwalk over 1000-year-old ancient trees, as well as in native bush.

Upon arrival at Cape Reinga, stop at the windswept tip of New Zealand and enjoy the Pacific Ocean colliding with the Tasman Sea.

Later experience to try sandboarding down the massive sand dunes on boogie boards at Te Paki Stream, as this fun experience is perfect for everyone. Your drive on vast and empty 90 Mile Beach will offer you striking contrasts to the busy and populated East Coast.

After breakfast, in the morning, depart for Auckland, Enroute be transferred through the ever changing scenery onto the Waitomo region where we stop at today’s highlight, your guided tour through the famous Waitomo Glow worm Caves which have spectacular limestone formations and the roof is studded with the lights of thousands of tiny Glow worms, including an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worms on the cavern roof.

Sightseeing:

  • Any increase in the rate of exchange leads to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Tours operated on a SIC basis will start from a central point located in the city Centre. Also for drop-off some tours may or may not provide drop-off (if they will provide then drop off location will be again some city Centre point).

Self-Drive:

Cruise:

  • All the cruise liners worldwide apply gratuity to be paid and is compulsory. The same needs to be paid directly at the cruise or can be prepaid through us.

    • Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the departure date: 50% of the total tour cost as a cancellation fee.
