Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad is situated in the heart of Gujarat. Ahmedabad District is home to city of Ahmedabad, which has a character like no other, defined by a spirit of enterprise. Although Ahmedabad is a bustling metropolitan with reputed institutes and a rapidly growing economy, it is also deeply rooted in tradition. The city is known for its association with Mahatma Gandhi, and in addition to a complex maze of neighbourhoods called pols, hosts some of the country’s finest medieval Islamic architecture. Sarkhej Roza, just outside the city is a mesmerizing inheritance from the Gujarat sultanate and makes for an idyllic retreat.

Lothal

Lothal is the most exhaustively excavated. It is believed to have been a flourishing sea port and trade centre between 2900-2400 BC. The city was divided into a raised citadel and a lower town.

Patan

The largest of more than 100 stepwells in Gujarat, the Rani-Ki-Vav was built in the 11th century when Patan was the Capital of the Solanki rulers. One of its legacies, Rani Ki Vav, literally “Queen’s stepwell”, was commissioned in 1063 by Rani Udayamati, wife of King Bhimdev of the Dynasty.

Statue Of Unity

The Statue of Unity is a colossal statue of Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of independent India and the chief adherent of Mahatma Gandhi during the non-violent Indian Independence movement.

Ahmedabad – Lothal

Early Morning depart for Heritage Walk – This is an excellent walking Tour of the Old City. The Tour includes examples of pols and havelis as well as some important historical monuments. It commences from the office above the main gate of the Swaminarayan Temple at Kalupur at 08:00 a.m. and ends at Jama Masjid at 10:30 a.m. You should arrive by 07:45 a.m. 

After freshen up proceed towards Lothal – is one of the most significant sites of the Harappan or Indus Valley Civilisation excavated in India.

Ahmedabad – Modhera – Patan – Ahmedabad

Early Morning after breakfast visit The Adalaj Stepwell- It is a located in the village of Adalaj,close to Ahmedabad city and in Gandhinagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It was built in 1498 in the memory of Rana Veer Singh, by his wife Queen Rudadevi. It is a fine example of Indian architecture work.

After that visit Modhera - Sun Temple – is a Hindu Temple dedicated to the solar deity Surya located at Modhera village of Mehsana district, Gujarat. It is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavti. It was built after 1026-27 CE during the reign of Bhima I of the Chalukya dynasty.

Patan – Rani Ki Vav – This stepwell is the oldest and the deepest among the 120 other stepwells in Gujarat. The sculpture of Rani Ki Vav depicting Lord Vishnu’s avatars, Hindu Goddesses, Jain idols and their ancestors. Most of the sculpture in devotion to Vishnu, in the forms of his avatars (Krishna, Rama and others) representing their return the world.

Vadodara – Statue of Unity - Ahmedabad

Early Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and visit,

Statue Of Unity – It is the World’s Tallest Statue with a height of 182 metres. It is located on a river facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada in Kevadiya Colony. And visit Sardar Sarovar Dam and Valley of flowers. After sightseeing depart for Ahmedabad and later drop at Ahmedabad Airport / Railway station.
