Imphal Local Sightseeing

Today, after breakfast, start for a full-day city tour of Imphal city. You will visit Kangla Fort & Kangla Museum (Wednesday closed), Govindajee Temple, Mahabali Temple, Imphal Museum, Second World War Cemeteries, and the famous IMA Market, a unique market run by the women. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Imphal.

Day 03
Excursion to Loktak Lake

After breakfast full-day excursion to Loktak Lake and Sendra Island. A later visit to Keibul Lamjao National Park (closed on Monday) is sharing the border with Loktak Lake, the last natural habitat of the endangered marsh-dwelling brow-antlered deer of Manipur called “Sangai”. It is the only floating national park in the world that is composed of large masses of floating weed (called “Phumdi” in the local dialect). Then, visit the INA Museum – the place where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s India National Army first hoisted the Indian Tricolors. Visit Loukoi Pat – a picnic spot with boating facilities. On your way back, visit the Japanese War Memorial (India Peace Memorial), which is situated at Red Hill in the Bishnupur District of Manipur. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Imphal.

Note:

  • We provide 1 Dzire for 02-03 Pax, 1 Innova / Ertiga / Scorpio / Xylo for 04-06 Pax and 1 Tempo Traveller for 07-10 Pax (No. of Pax mentioned includes child also). For crisis period we will provide 02 Scorpio / Xylo / Similar instead of Tempo Traveller, as there is very limited option of Tempo Traveller in this sector. In case the number of heads increases, then the guest will have to take another vehicle for which supplement charges would be applicable.
  • Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required for entry to Manipur states. It is issued by the Government of Manipur and required for entering Manipur through any of the check gates across the inter-State borders. Typically, a “Temporary ILP” is issued for visitors, which is valid for 15 days, and can be extended another 15 days, with the possibility of extending it to one month in exceptional circumstances. If arriving by air, an ILP can be obtained on arrival at Imphal Airport. Please send us 2 passport size photographs for each Pax. Kindly scan and send us Photo identity proof & Address proof (Aadhar Card / Driving License / Voter ID Card / Valid Passport) of each person and for children below 18yrs – Child birth certificate or School/ College Identity card (in English). We require at least 10 official working days for processing the documents and obtaining ILP (ILP office remains closed on Saturday-Sunday).

  • Disposal vehicles do not operate between 22:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs and supplement charges will be applicable to operate between these timings.
  • Missed Breakfast will be not be refunded due to early morning tours.
  • Menu in Meals will be as per hotels policy.
  • Check-in & Check-out time: generally Check-in varies between 2 pm-3 pm and check-out before 12 pm (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and may result in an extra charge equivalent to one full day room rate
  • Unutilized services are not refundable.
  • Any item NOT specified in the above itinerary will incur supplement charges.

  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary needs to be settled by guests directly on tour with the local vendor.

  • Any special request such as adjacent rooms, interconnecting rooms, room on the same floor, 1 king-size / 2 Twin bed, early check-in, late checkout, no/smoking room, etc. is subject to availability upon check-in of the guest and is at the hotel&39s discretion. We will request this for you as a priority.
  • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.
  • Tours are operated as per driver cum guide and no separate guides are arranged unless mentioned in inclusions.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
  • Expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslides, strikes, political unrest, etc. In such cases, extra will be charged as per actual.
  • A credit card with the required limit is mandatory if the passengers wish to book Self-driven vehicles.
  • We reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, implementations of government rules/restrictions, lockdowns, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
